Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Parking Lot Attendant at our Grand Chute/Appleton, WI store to provide quality customer service and support by collecting carts, tidying the lot, and assisting customers. You will help keep aisles clear and the parking area safe in all weather conditions.

No experience is required; training is provided. Shifts start as early as 6am and run until midnight, with 4-, 6-, or 8-hour options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Warm and persuasive personality to guide customers in selecting products for purchase (or in this case, assisting customers).
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Strength and stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shopping carts from outside the store back to the interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash in the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across store.
