Job summary

WellPower in Denver, CO is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management within a continuum of services designed to help people recover and function in the community. You will assess and monitor needs and ensure timely clinical documentation.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and a Colorado license or eligibility within 24 months, plus at least one year of experience with severely mentally

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Current Colorado license or eligibility to obtain within 24 months.
• Minimum one year of experience with severely mentally ill populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic mental health assessments and individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy.
• Develop treatment plans; monitor progress and follow-up as indicated.
• Support growth with focus on strengths, culture, resiliency and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support clients.
• Coordinate services for psychiatric, case management, and medical needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per WellPower standards.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision.
• Maintain a trauma-informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field

Current Colorado license or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment
