Job summary

University Place Pediatrics Clinic, affiliated with Seattle Children's, seeks a Medical Assistant to join the after-hours clinic. The position is 0.7 FTE and will operate on a rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends at the Fircrest location.

You will perform patient procedures, handle chart preparation, stocking supplies, phone duties, and support clinic flow. WA DOH CMA certification and BLS are required; interim certification accepted for up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant – Certified designation by WA DOH is required.
• Interim certification acceptable for up to 12 months from issue date.
• Current BLS certification is required for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests.
• Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones.
• Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
