Job summary

Solventum seeks a Manufacturing Production Supervisor in Brookings, SD. You will provide direct supervision, coach and train staff, and allocate work to meet safety, quality, service and productivity goals.

The role requires leadership experience, aBachelor’s Degree or higher (or equivalent experience) and background in continuous production operations, lean/six sigma knowledge, and strong communication skills. Onsite work with potential travel related to operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Experience in continuous production operations setting
• Previous leadership experience, including team lead and/or supervisory experience
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision through leadership, coaching, training, development, allocating work assignments, and utilizing performance feedback.
• Lead team members during evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts.
• Meet plant and department objectives in safety, quality, service, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Support shift administration activities such as time reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime.
• Perform regular safety coaching and execute on the planned production schedule.
