Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Machine Operator to support production operations, ensure quality standards, and maintain a safe, efficient plant environment in Brookings, SD. The role involves operating production equipment, inspecting and packing products to standards.

The position offers starting pay of $25.12/hour with shift differentials and 8/10/12 hour shifts. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and either 1 year of machine operator experience or 3 years of experience; US work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (completed prior to start) and 1 year of experience in a machine operator role OR 3 years of experience in a machine operator role.
• Ability to work either an 8, 10, or 12 hour shift.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, inspecting, and packing product safely and according to standards.
• Perform tests at a high quality of standards set by quality specifications.
• Support the team when working with other Operators and Service Groups to optimize processes, including timeliness of product flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Possess the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
