Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Corpus Christi is seeking a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join its busy kitchen. You will prepare high quality meals in a timely, sanitary and presentable manner.

You will follow recipes and portion controls, maintain equipment, clean and organize stations, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Shift availability includes AM/PM, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications.
• Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen stations and storage areas.
• Lift up to 35 lb and work with limited supervision.
• Able to work AM or PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Line cooks are responsible for the preparation of high quality meals in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, walk-in cooler, and storage areas.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications; ensure proper portion control.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely; adhere to safety procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
