Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures.
• Prepare and initiate special tests and procedures including cytogenetics, general laboratory, Point-of-Care Testing, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen management.
• Obtain total volume and properly label and handle urine specimens.
• Communicate professionally with patients, family and medical personnel; document procedures and maintain records.
• Perform quality control and infection control procedures to ensure compliance.
