Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking an RN for evening and weekend care in Palm Harbor, FL. This on-site role covers Pinellas County and requires a Florida RN license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Experience in hospice care is preferred.

The RN will coordinate patient and family needs, manage symptoms, educate families, and support care teams to provide full life care in challenging times.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• CPR certification from a recognized provider.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.
• Experience in hospice or end-of-life care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs under physician orders.
• Provide assessment, intervention and teaching to maximize comfort and quality of life.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications as prescribed.
• Provide closure support to patient/family after death, in collaboration with the IDT.
