Job summary

The City of Rock Hill is seeking a general labor worker for the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. The role requires evening and weekend availability and operates under close supervision with procedures in place.

Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• Six months to one year of work experience is required.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and grounds keeping duties at assigned facilities, including cleaning restrooms and sweeping floors.
• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain landscaping and vegetation.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment (vehicles, floor cleaning machines, mowers, etc.).
• Assist with event setup, monitoring, and break-down for sports programming and special events.
