Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Hart-East Hartford store to build customer relationships and create customized framing solutions. You will assist customers, help them find products, and ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves completing framing orders on time, operating the cash register, and supporting omni-channel processes. Work environment includes a busy public retail setting with climate-controlled areas; nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to measure materials.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and help customers shop our store.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas; stock and merchandize well.
• Provide friendly customer service; help customers locate products and solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and cash handling at the register.
• Support truck unload and stocking, ensure standards and safety.
• Promote a positive image and role model company values.
