Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Framing Specialist to assist customers, guide product choices, and maintain a safe framing shop within a retail setting. You will operate manual and electric framing tools and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include supporting omnichannel processes, handling cash, and promoting Michaels' vision and values. Expect to work nights, weekends, and some early shifts in a climate‑controlled store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment, including glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide memorable framing solutions.
• Help customers shop, find products, and guide them to desired items.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and clutter‑free store environment.
• Adhere to the SOPs and policies.
• Operate framing equipment, including glass cutter, heat press, and other tools.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain ready‑made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and promote the company’s vision and values.
• Support shrink and safety programs and participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
• Operate the cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omnichannel processes and other duties as assigned.
