Job summary

Brookhaven at Lexington, a prestigious private retirement community located on the Lexington/Waltham line, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for its dining venues. You will supervise cafe and bistro operations for lunch and dinner, while training waitstaff and ensuring compliance with laws and Brookhaven's standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, two years in a fine dining setting, and Heimlich maneuver training.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years hands-on experience in fine dining setting.
• Supervisory experience.
• Must have training in performing the Heimlich Maneuver.

Responsibilities

• In supervision and training of Waitstaff for meal service and catered events in accordance with current laws and regulations and Brookhaven's goals and objectives.
• Under the Restaurant Manager's direction or Manager on Duty, supervise Cafe and Bistro for lunch and dinner.
• Responsible for upholding high standards in Dining Services including: maintaining cost efficiency, training and coaching employees, and facilitating change within Waitstaff function.
• Works an opening or closing shift.
