Job summary

Front Porch in La Jolla, CA is seeking a friendly Food Server for part-time, hourly work. You will interact with residents and staff, provide attentive service during meals, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment.

Saturday 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Sunday, Monday and Thursday 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Additional duties include setting tables, presenting menus, assisting with beverages, and following safety and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some high school education required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to residents, families, coworkers, and vendors.
• Sets up tables, napkins, and utensils; refills condiments.
• Explains menu items; assists with drink selection and guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety according to policies.
• Assist with events and cover for absent staff.
