Job summary

Commonpoint is seeking a Case Manager to support adults in vocational training, guiding them from enrollment through job placement and retention. You will provide individualized case management, coordinate referrals, and assist with job readiness and employment services across multiple boroughs.

The role emphasizes data-driven progress tracking, collaboration with workforce teams, and delivering supportive coaching to adults with diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field highly preferred.
• At least 1–2 years relevant experience in workforce development, recruiting, human resources preferred.
• Sensitivity towards diverse individuals including immigrants, English language learners, and low-income populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management to participants from enrollment through job readiness, employment, and post-employment retention.
• Deliver job readiness and employment services: resume development, interview prep, job search strategy, and employer referrals.
• Coordinate referrals to internal and external social services in collaboration with case management teams.
• Track retention milestones and ensure accurate data entry in program databases and reporting systems.
• Attend cross-borough staff meetings and provide updates on participant progress and outcomes.
