Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Henderson, NV is hiring Caregivers for full-time and part-time shifts. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour.

Roles include 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts on Fri-Sun and Sat-Sun-Wed blocks, with a focus on compassionate care for residents in a family-like environment. Care Managers build relationships with residents, assist with daily living activities, and uphold core values of Love, Kindness, Honesty, and Respect.

Qualifications

• Must have a First Aid certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English.
• Previous experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and review of the resident’s care plan in conjunction with other disciplines
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity
• Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions which may result in harm to a resident
• Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being of residents
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
• Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be able to read and write English; healthcare experience preferred.
