Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking Care Managers for its West San Jose community to provide compassionate care to residents. This part-time role offers Fri/Sat & Sun/Mon shifts across 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm, with pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining dignity and privacy, and collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Previous experience in health-care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with established methods and techniques and in conformance with recognized standards.
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls, etc.
• Participate in and attend monthly in-service meetings, all training, and departmental meetings.
• Demonstration of core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
