Gorham House in Gorham, ME seeks a Care Associate/PSS for an evening shift with weekends to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program. You will help with daily living activities, support independence, and maintain residents’ dignity.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, logging daily care, and collaborating with a supervisor. A compassionate, team‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to communicate with staff and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills to document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to maintain dignity.
• Provide medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing and escort services.
• Follow resident needs schedule as set by supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily care logs and report issues to supervisor.
• Respect independence and dignity of residents.
• Collaborate with the care team to manage multiple tasks safely.
• Demonstrate compassionate, professional, and empathetic conduct.
