Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. seeks a supervisor to lead, train, and develop workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance, while upholding high standards for accuracy, customer service, organization, and teamwork.

Work hours: 4:30–9:30 PM, Tuesday–Saturday, in Johnson City, TN. This permanent role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. /32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times and in compliance with all requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and coaching for all employees.
