Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the production line, ensuring safety, quality and SLA targets are met. Shift is Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am EST, at 1451 All Points Ct, Plainfield, IN 46168.

You will supervise up to 60 full-time/temporary associates, coordinate with Planning, Inventory, Quality, Sales and branch management, and drive continuous improvement while meeting cost targets and ISO policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; four years related experience; one year supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent experience.
• Credentials: ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily business activity and provides leadership for assigned personnel.
• Communicate with Resource Freight Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, Sales and branch management to resolve production issues.
• Meet or exceed customer SLA’s and operating plan metrics.
• Track KPIs, costs and trends; ensure safety, line utilization and quality.
• Oversee equipment reliability and supervise up to 60 associates.
