Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a Stocker for our Columbus, Ohio location. The role involves maintaining inventory integrity, stocking shelves, and processing received merchandise with emphasis on safety and accuracy. Work hours are 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, follow written and oral instructions, and have reliable transportation. Warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to concentrate and communicate with management and co-workers.
• Ability to read and write numbers; perform basic arithmetic and follow written and oral instructions.
• Follow oral and written instructions and lift objects weighing 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory discrepancies with packing orders and checks shelves before packing.
• Puts stock away on shelves.
• Consolidates and stores received merchandise within 24 hours.
• Enters adjustments to bulk inventory the same day.
• Operates material handling equipment with safety as top priority.
• Verifies part numbers and ensures correct stocking at primary location.
• Ensures units packed match the correct parts.
