Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Material Handler to support production and logistics at 9820 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, KS. You will read and process orders, label items, and retrieve parts from pick lists while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe truck loading.

You may lead tasks and participate in cross-training within logistics functions. Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma or GED, have basic computer/MRP familiarity, and can obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Computer classes and/or production experience is helpful, as is general MRP systems knowledge.
• Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification is required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Combi-Lift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort and process complete orders.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and understand assembly instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts from a pick list.
• Assist with upkeep of warehouse inventory and with loading/unloading trucks.
• Issue parts to lines and operate a forklift to move/deliver parts to the line.
