Qualifications

• Basic problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to unload merchandise using power equipment or hand truck, sorting and stocking on pallets.

Responsibilities

• Operate receiving equipment to move pallets to storage locations.
• Read put away labels to determine storage locations and verify items.
• Transport merchandise from staging to storage using equipment or hand truck.
• Ensure correct heights and stacking patterns for pallets and sorting.
• Accurately count cartons/pallets received.
• Complete purchase orders/ASN/worksheet for received items.
• Assist driver in unloading merchandise.
• Tag pallets with item numbers, PO numbers and date received.
• Total quantities and complete general information on PO/worksheet.
• Sign driver’s freight bill for overages, shortages, damages.
• Use wireless devices to interact with warehouse management system to receive product.
