Virginia Eagle Distributing Co. is seeking an Order Picker for the evening shift in Virginia. You’ll start by building and picking delivery orders, using the EasyPick system to ensure accurate counts and safe transport of cases.

You'll operate electric pallet jacks and a walk/ride pallet jack, and may use a sit-down forklift after certification within 90 days. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 15–40+ lbs repeatedly for 10–15 hour shifts
• Sharp attention to detail for accurate case counts and order builds
• Basic math and counting skills
• Forklift certification a plus
• Reliable attendance — on-time for every shift
• Comfortable working in a noisy, temperature-controlled warehouse (≈50°F)

Responsibilities

• Pick and build delivery route orders using EasyPick system, stacking cases accurately
• Verify order accuracy with two-step scan verification
• Operate electric pallet jacks and walk/ride pallet jacks to move orders
• Operate sit-down forklift as needed (certification within 90 days)
• Assist with loading trucks and end-of-shift cleanup
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA standards
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions as needed
