Cardinal Health, Inc. in New York is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound or outbound activities, meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards. You will follow SOPs to pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with possible equipment operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good verbal/written communication. The shift runs Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 5:30pm–4:00am with a competitive pay rate and benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing and loading.
• Pick items using material handling equipment or manually place on designated carts.
• Crosstrain in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (forklift, order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory control.
