Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops in Baltimore to support inbound/outbound activities in a fast-paced distribution setting. You will follow SOPs, pick, pack, ship, and ensure quality and safety while maintaining productivity goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime. RF scanning and PIT experience are preferred, with WMS proficiency highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments and communicate concerns to management.
• Adhere to site safety regulations including PPE and EHS/QRA policies.
