Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate II in Baltimore. The role supports outbound and inbound activities within a distribution environment, receiving products and shipping orders under supervision.

You will use a WMS, operate material handling equipment, and maintain accuracy and safety while meeting quality standards. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with heights.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, pallets, packing, loading and shipment prep.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Pick large case items with material handling equipment or small unit items onto designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control, maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Handle routine problems and communicate concerns to management.
• Participate in associate meetings and adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
