Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Warehouse Agent in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves operating within the warehouse during evening hours, performing cargo handling, forklift operation, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include transporting shipments, organizing by destination, preparing paperwork for export, and maintaining accurate weights, measurements, and on-hand notices. A high school diploma or GED and forklift certification are required, with Hazmat endorsement

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and cargo handling.
• Forklift certification required.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo to/from airport and carriers, and direct customer pickup/delivery.
• Move shipments to/from receiving or staging areas and organize by destination.
• Sort/place shipments on racks and pallets; prepare documents for export as needed.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; unload/load vehicles and tractors.
• Take weights/measures and provide on-hand notices; prepare bills of lading as needed.
