Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Plainfield, Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Agent (Day Shift) to perform warehousing and distribution duties, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, labeling, loading/unloading, and inventory control. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, and requires forklift experience, WMS familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

GXP responsibilities include handling Life Science and Healthcare shipments, compliant documentation, and pre/post shipment

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to scan freight in/out of the warehouse.
• Detail oriented with good follow-up and documentation.
• Able to lift 40-50 pounds occasionally and operate warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with hazmat/dangerous goods and temperature control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipment to load/unload and move freight.
• Trained to handle dangerous goods and life science/healthcare shipments where applicable.
• Conduct staging, handling of IWS freight, and warehouse cleaning.
