Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years related experience; one year in warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience supervising, training and directing staff is a plus.
• Exposure to voice-pick and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lb and stand for long shifts; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of the Shipping Department in Kalamazoo.
• Organize daily workload and direct staff to meet on-time freight targets.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance reviews for shipping staff twice yearly.
• Supervise shipping operations: productivity, quality, safety, and service.
• Assist with daily shipping functions: pallets, orders, and carrier shipments.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and address unsafe conditions promptly.
