Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will lead, coach, and develop staff while driving performance and safety compliance.

Role requires a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory warehouse role, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees while fostering a team‑oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to hold team members accountable in a fair, consistent, and professional manner.
• Strong focus on safety awareness and compliance, including knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor work to meet timelines.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to drive performance and engagement.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure productivity and service levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and replenishment processes.
• Oversee ordering and management of shipping and operational supplies.
• Ensure OSHA safety regulations compliance and promote a safe environment.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and address hazards proactively.
• Perform employee evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
