Family Dollar in Ashley, Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of conveyors, building equipment and electrical/control systems in our Distribution Center.

The role requires electronics/maintenance experience, PLC/PC knowledge, and the ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends or holidays. We offer a competitive benefits package and a stable, growth-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic tech or 3 years related experience
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Industrial electrical hands-on troubleshooting including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC and 24 VDC
• Advanced troubleshooting with PCs and industrial controls devices/networking
• Clear communication of technical issues to leadership
• Shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays are required
• Customer service oriented

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on DC equipment and conveyors
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems including PLCs, servo motors and VFDs
• Diagnose from blueprints and use diagnostic tools
• Assist other maintenance technicians
• Develop procedures to keep equipment at high efficiency
• Maintain organized, safe work area in the Maintenance department
• Document work orders and records
• Operate material handling and dock equipment
