Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Friona, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and manage palletized goods on a Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am schedule. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Tasks include selecting, packing, labeling, RF data entry, and maintaining safety and organization in a cold or dry storage environment. You will follow work orders, inspect loads, document discrepancies, and support overall warehouse operations while adhering to PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.
• Basic math skills.
• Understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures with PPE.
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and locations.
• Document and report damages and discrepancies to supervisors.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning where needed.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and manage storage or cleaning as required.
• Inform leadership of product issues and await directions.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
