Job summary

Purple Mountain Solutions Inc. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (3pm start, M-F) to support evening warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

You will help prepare freight, organize trucks, and maintain safe, clean work areas while aligning with a fast-paced team. Flexibility for weekends, strong attention to detail, and safety focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating warehouse equipment or willingness to learn.
• Forklift certification a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Comfortable using basic technology and warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle packages throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, pick, pack, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and organize freight for outbound shipments.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Support linehaul and daily shipping operations.
• Organize warehouse space to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
• Ensure customer orders are processed correctly and on time.
• Assist with tracking inventory movement and storage documentation.
• Communicate priorities and workflow updates with the team.
• Respond to operational and customer-related requests.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
• Assist with incident reporting and documentation.
• Resolve delivery or service issues professionally.
• Support efforts to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.
