BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Veterinary Receptionists!

Schedule: Open availability required; willingness to work weekends and holidays is necessary.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Note: This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and progression through our leveling system.

The role requires the ability to remain calm and compassionate, especially during emotional or difficult situations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Greeting clients warmly and professionally as they enter the hospital.
2. Maintaining a friendly demeanor with eye contact and a smile.
3. Listening compassionately to clients.
4. Communicating clearly and calmly in person and over the phone.
5. Assessing clients and pets upon arrival, including determining emergency status.
6. Responding to non-patient inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
7. Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation information.
8. Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
9. Handling pet remains with compassion and ensuring proper processes.
