BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Evening Veterinary Receptionist at our Franklin, TN location!

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.00 Shift Differential

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to our hospital's success. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate, even in emotionally challenging situations.

As an Evening Veterinary Receptionist:

• Greet clients warmly and make eye contact when they enter.
• Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
• Be a compassionate listener.
• Communicate clearly and calmly in person and on the phone.
• Assess clients' needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
• Determine emergency urgency (stat vs. standard).
• Respond to non-patient calls and direct visitors appropriately.
• Confirm appointments and provide clients with accurate prep instructions.
• Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
• Handle pet remains with compassion and accuracy, serving as a liaison with service agencies.
