Job summary

VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is seeking a full-time Patient Care Attendant to join our team. We value positivity, energy, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team, with a culture that supports growth.

This position offers a Wednesday–Sunday schedule from 2pm to 10pm and compensation of $17–$19 per hour, based on experience. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are provided, along with paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Restrain animals for doctors and technicians.
• Administer medications under supervision of the technician.
• Assist with obtaining lab samples and running in-house tests.
• Monitor hospitalized patients during treatments and recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels and hospital areas.
