Loomis is hiring an Armed Vault Teller in Elmwood, LA. The role involves maintaining inventory in cash vaults, supporting Loomis customers, and working with a team to ensure secure, accurate handling of currency and valuables. The position requires handling heavy loads, strict attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Shift is Monday through Friday starting at 2:00 PM, with an hourly wage of $18.00. A valid firearms permit or state-required clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with coworkers and customers, and read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Physical requirements: lift/carry up to ~50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and move heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Check bag/seal numbers against receipts or manifests.
• Count items and record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts.
• Load/unload bags/boxes of currency, coins, and checks.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with coworkers and customers.
