Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center Burnet Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes compliance, safety, and care coordination, with a focus on regulatory standards, CMS requirements, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, teaching, and collaboration with department leaders, nurse council, and magnet representatives. Ohio RN license required; BSN/MSN preferred; 2+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or diploma in nursing from ACEN, CCNE or NLN-accredited program.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• If hired without a BSN/MSN, must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year of hire date and complete program within 5 years.
• BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN or MSN preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license; foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation.
• Support leadership in safety and policy compliance.
• Ensure required certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with managers, nurse council, and magnet representatives to share safety best practices.
• Provide clinical judgment in patient care following algorithms and protocols.
• Document plan of care, care delivered, and patient and family outcomes.
• Engage in teaching and peer learning; participate in interdisciplinary teamwork.
