Indiana University Health in Lafayette, IN is seeking a part-time evenings unit secretary/PCA to support the patient care team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and handle unit clerical tasks, including documentation and patient sign-in/out processes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification, and basic knowledge of medical terminology. Prior acute care experience or completion of IU Health PCA education may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a clinical nurse.
• Perform unit clerical duties and assist the care team.
• Maintain patient records and process sign-ins/outs.
• Schedule tests and procedures as needed.
• Ensure a clean and orderly patient environment.
• Assist with equipment and supply delivery.
• Provide continuous observation as required.
