You will perform a range of ultrasound procedures, operate equipment, schedule exams, and maintain patient records while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registration required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures according to department protocols.
• Operates Ultrasound equipment and records images.
• Uses RIS to schedule and complete exams; processes labels and films.
• Interacts with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
• Maintains patient records and statistics accurately.
• Labels sonograms and communicates results to physicians.
