Job summary

Newton-Wellesley Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a full-time 2nd shift (40 hours/week). The role covers abdomen, pelvis, fetus, OB/GYN, thyroid, breast, vascular exams with on-site responsibility and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in OB/GYN and/or Abdomen; vascular a plus.
One year of clinical experience in General, OB/GYN, Small Parts and Vascular Imaging.
GE or Siemens experience a plus. CPR Certification Required.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound exams and produce diagnostic images for abdomen, pelvis, fetus, thyroid, breast, extremities and vessels.
Ensure patient care at highest standards and maintain efficient workflow and scanner use.
Participate in on-call, holiday and flexible shift coverage as needed.
Assist with training staff and students and participate in QA and research initiatives.
Follow protocols and maintain equipment and room readiness.
