Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a qualified ultrasound technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and perform routine invasive procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will provide patient services and collaborate with radiology staff to ensure high-quality imaging and safety across age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.

The role requires ARDMS certification in at least two specialties and BCLS certification, with a minimum of two years' experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years of experience Required
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties
• BCLS - Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Education
