Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic exams for patients from neonatal to geriatric. You will follow established protocols and work closely with radiologists to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, BLS on hire, and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility. One year of experience is preferred but not required; the team supports ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or ARRT-approved program.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible required; breast ultrasound licensure path noted.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Follows imaging protocols and adheres to ACR and Piedmont guidelines.
• Delivers patient education and communicates with radiologists and staff.
• Maintains quality and continues professional development.
