Job summary

Menard, Inc in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a maintenance technician to service Menard-owned equipment and vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Second shift adds a $3.00/hr premium with Monday–Friday 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. and occasional Saturday morning shifts.

Responsibilities include mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance checks. Requires direct mechanical experience or an accredited technician degree and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have some direct mechanical experience or an accredited Technician Degree.
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
• Must have parts knowledge.
• Must be able to take direction from management and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs to trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs.
• Look for additional repairs beyond what’s listed.
• Perform preventative Maintenance checks on equipment.
• Experience in diagnostic engine repair
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair
