Job summary

Menards Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to service Menard-owned equipment and vehicles, including light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and forklifts.

The role offers a 2nd shift with a $3.00/hr premium, and hours are Mon–Fri, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., plus every 3rd Saturday morning shift. Pay ranges by experience with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have some direct mechanical experience or an accredited Technician Degree.
• Experience in diagnostic engine repair.
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair.
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
• Must have parts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs to trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs.
• Look for additional repairs beyond what’s listed.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Experience in diagnostic engine repair.
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair.
• Must be able to take direction from management and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally.
