Job summary

City of Gainesville, GA is seeking a Seasonal Trolley Bus Operator for April through December. This evening service role operates 5pm–10pm, transporting passengers to dining, recreation, and entertainment centers, with emphasis on safe, courteous service to all riders.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement (or permit with plan to obtain within 6 months), clean MVR, be 21+, and CPR desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required; permit option allowed with plan to obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• CPR certification desirable.
• Age 21+ due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a trolley bus and transport passengers to event sites.
• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking from vans/buses.
• Keep riders safe and provide courteous service.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and perform related duties.
• Adhere to safety-sensitive policy and random drug testing.
