Job summary

Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Transportation and Parking Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and coordinate workflow for staff, faculty, students and visitors.

The position requires scheduling drivers for events, enforcing parking rules, handling incidents, and performing annual reviews. A CDL Class B with P endorsement and a clean driving record are required; proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years scheduling personnel, events or staffing experience.
• Must be insurable per university automobile insurance requirements.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain CDL.
• Proficient in timekeeping and training software.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift to ensure consistent service.
• Evaluate, train, discipline as needed to follow policies and safety.
• Enforce university parking rules; issue citations, boot/tow vehicles.
• Inspect lots for safety, signage, and maintenance needs.
• Schedule drivers for events beyond daily operations.
• Investigate complaints and resolve disputes; provide parking info.
• Assist with transporting vehicles to repair shops; perform annual reviews.
• Build rapport with students and employees to promote safety.
• May fill in for shuttle driver or enforcement as needed.
