Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet running smoothly through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, read precision instruments, and apply welding where needed while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with truck repair and body/frame repair.
• Must provide own tools and have a valid CDL when required.
• Ability to read precision instruments and use diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair company equipment safely and timely, including preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or other failures on trucks and trailers.
• Read micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform welding on converter dollies and trucks when required.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules.
