Job summary

TJ Sheehan Distributing is seeking a Swing Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, ensuring accurate order selection, efficient product handling, and timely preparation of delivery vehicles for the next day.

The role provides leadership to warehouse staff, coordinates workflows, monitors productivity and inventory accuracy, and enforces safety and quality standards in a fast-paced beverage distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in beverage distribution or consumer goods warehouse preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, order selection, and loading procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Experience with warehouse management systems, including VIP or similar beverage distribution software, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations during the swing shift to ensure efficient and accurate completion of work.
• Direct workflow for warehouse associates, order selectors, forklift operators, and other personnel.
• Coordinate order selection, product replenishment, loading, and unloading activities to meet deadlines.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are loaded and prepared for the next day’s routes.
• Monitor productivity and implement adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse management systems and equipment.
• Coordinate staffing and equipment needs to support daily operations.
• Communicate shift priorities and challenges to the management team.
