Job summary

St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Surgical Technologist for EVENINGS to join our operating room team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during operative and invasive procedures.

You will prepare the OR, assist the surgeon, and mentor other techs while upholding safety protocols and a clean, organized work environment. BCLS and CST/TS-C credentials are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• CST or TS-C certification required or in process.
• BCLS certification required or to be obtained within 7 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff during operative and invasive procedures in the OR.
• Prepare operating room and equipment between patients per policy.
• Act as a preceptor for other technicians as needed.
• Support surgery patient identification and procedure verification.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, safe patient care environment.
